Control Options
It is possible to completely open and close wood blinds independently of the slats. A number of opening combinations are available:

One of the best things about timber/fauxwood venetians is the amount of control they provide over privacy and light in your home through simply adjusting the angle of the slats. The slats can be controlled easily and smoothly via the cord controls included with all installations.
Closing slats completely will block light and provide complete privacy.
Completely opening slats will maximise natural light and open up your view.

All timber products from Amaru come from a sustainable resource, meaning that the timber we use is grown and responsibly harvested on plantations purposely for this use.
The maximum width for a timber blind is 2400mm as timber is a heavy natural material, we believe this is the maximum safe width to get the best life from the product.
The good news is that caring for your custom made wooden venetian blind is relatively simple. The quickest way to clean them is to lightly run over the slats with the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner whenever you vacuum the floors.
If you have chosen to buy white wooden venetian blinds or faux wood white blinds and need to remove marks or stains use a damp soft microfiber cloth and mild bleach-free detergent.
For timber cleaning and maintenance use only products specially formulated for cleaning that product, such as beeswax for lacquered timber blinds.
